The problem is that my insurance carrier has chosen to drop me. My daughter was under my policy and has had two accidents, a third being from her friend. My car was hit by a fire truck(no fire)while my son was driving it. This was all in the past five years. I’m now faced with a problem. I’ve gotten quotes from other carriers, oh my gosh !! Would it wise to put my vehicle in my husbands name? We have the same address but diff. last names. We also have the same insurance co.

I do not have health insurance (my choice) so why should I be fined by the gummit if I refuse to buy it? Where does the gummit get the ability to fine me or force me to buy something I do not want?

I am just about to receive my drivers license and have saved up my money because i really like the mitsubishi eclipse and nothing else. but its hard for my mom because the fact its a sports car and my age with insurance, so is there a model that does not fall under the sports car category. I am so sick and tired of looking for an auto insurance quote that helps me survive. I am currently paying around $250 a month for auto insurance which is ridiculous with a $400 car payment. I had some past accidents which is killing me on my insurance costs but I haven’t had any recent accidents. I have tried all the major companies….state farm, geico, nationwide,the general,safe auto,erie….you name it I have tried it and I have tried even some of the not so heard of….amica,encompass,kemper……for the love of GOD! Anyone have any suggestions that may be of some use instead of saying something like …try google or I’m screwed? These are things that I already know about. Please help! Anyone who is helpful 10 points!

was going up to $202 a month. Today we get a letter telling us it is going up tp 216. We don’t have drug coverage with this but it seems high. Any one else gotten these letters about rates?
