My husband and I both have odd life insurance policies. They are considered term policies because they do expire, but as long as we don’t die, we get all our premiums back at the end. It was a new type of product they were offering. Since we are young (25) we thought it was a good idea because basically when we turn 45 we get all that money back to do with as we please.
Anyways, what if AIG can’t pay us back in 20 years…?

I bought 3 policies, one in 1955, one in 1957, one in 1968 for my children. Said policies to pay 800 dollars for each child on their 18 birthday.
My copies of the policies burned in a fire. My children are 51, 49, and 38. To date they have received nothing. the insurance company denies ever having sold me the policies. Has anyone else had this problem and what did you do to resolve this. One of the agents who collected the money each month is still living, but I have not found his new address yet?

I’ve been on narcotics for few years through pain management but want to get off the pain meds for awhile and clean myself out so I can try other pain control methods….my insurance will pay for addiction treatment but how does that work? Will I be labeled an addict through insurance company and never be able to get any pain meds again if other forms of pain control do not work? Should I do the out patient treatment and pay for it myself to avoid issues? If I go through insurance do they inform the pharmacy and then they label me too? The meds I have been on work awesome, the last 2-3 yrs my quality of life has been 75% better but I just want to take a break from the narcotics and try other methods if I can but do not want to chance not being able to get back on the old meds if I had to.
How does the insurance work in respect to addiction treatment? I am not an addict in the full meaning of the word… my body is dependent on them & I’ll get sick if stopped abruptly but addicted? No!

With Gobal Warming and all! Do you think it’s important that I have Earthquake Insurance on my house? Crazy things have been happening and I just want to know I’m covered if a Massive Earthquake HIT California and damaged my house. I’d like to know HOW many Homeowners living in California have Earthquake coverage and what you would pay? I just got a quote that seems pretty good. $184.00 a year for coverage. Sounds pretty good huh? That’s only about $15.33 dollars a month. Let me know what you think.
My house isn’t worth 1 million dollars. You aren’t dealing with a Millionaire. I wish I had millions in the BANK. That would be the LIFE. I wanted to get my house covered in CASE; just in case. You never know!
